The world’s on fire. Genocides are happening around the globe. I learned this morning the Canadian government KILLED TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOGS just to attack the Innuit way of life. My parents moved away last year and next week is my son’s school’s grandparent’s day…. Oh, and I also learned that when Maslow visited the Blackrock tribe, virtually everyone reported a high sense of self-actualization. So, it really is modern society f*cking us all up. Why do you need to ask?
Keeping up hope requires feeling the enormity of this all. So yeah, I’m not in a good way currently, but I’m so immensely thankful for the love and compassion around me every day, and maybe tomorrow will be better.
