A year ago, I would have said something serene and spiritual like “grounded nervous system” but after this election, I want to piss off those who should be made uncomfortable. Voting to put millions of people across the globe in harms’ way because you think tariffs will bring down your cost of eggs… well, it’s not great. So if you voted against anything on this list, I hope my first impression is one that leaves you backing away carefully.
- Dismantling systemic racism
- Trans rights, including but not limited to private medical decisions
- Women’s rights, including but not limited to private medical decisions
- Rule of Law – if you commit a crime, shouldn’t you be held to the same expectations as anyone else, regardless of your day job? Rhetorical yes, because that isn’t the case for anyone in the oligarch class
- Climate Action
- ACA (Affordable Care Act)-I am self-employed. “Concepts of a plan” for replacement doesn’t exactly cut it. No one should have to live with that level of… incompetence… deciding their access to affordable healthcare
- SNAP, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Disability
- The Federal Department of Education
If you are afraid about the next era in this country, welcome. This is a place of refuge, planning, and mutual aid. We’re not going to give up on justice and equity. We’re going to push for what is right, and make things uncomfortable for those who oppose the common good.
