Best:
- Any animal you can properly care for. Including, but not limited to:
- Physical needs (food, space)
- Vet visits and proper medications
- Sterilization procedures
- Emotional needs (space, contact/company)
- Physical needs (food, space)
- That’s it.
Worst:
- Pets you cannot care for
- Physical needs cannot be met
- Needs more space to run/be wild
- Specialty diets
- Comfortable lodgings
- Emotional needs cannot be met
- Needs its own wild territory
- You’re too busy for adequate attention
- This includes for dogs and cats! They need attention, too!
- Stimulating toys are unavailable/too expensive
- Letting your pet be bored will kill it young
- Your presence is distressing to the creature
- Maybe it really needs to be left in the wild
- Physical needs cannot be met
Puts up soapbox, have a good day, folks.
